Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw Orientation is a welcoming introduction for new employees to learn about the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw, our history, mission, values, and ways of working. This session provides an overview of the organization, its departments, key policies, health & safety practices, and employee benefits, while helping team members understand how their role supports the Nation and its people.

Participants will be introduced to Sḵwx̱wú7mesh cultural teachings, community protocols, and available employee supports and resources. Orientation is also an opportunity to connect with fellow employees, ask questions, and begin building relationships within the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw workforce.

Orientation is mandatory for all new employees, as well as employees who have recently become permanent or term.
