About Mental Health First Aid Canada

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is the support provided to someone who may be experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis. Similar to physical first aid, which is given until medical care is available, MHFA supports a person until appropriate professional help is found or the situation is resolved.
This MHFA Canada course is rooted in building awareness, understanding, and compassionate response. Participants will gain practical skills and knowledge to recognize and respond to mental health challenges in themselves, as well as in co-workers, family members, and community.
Through this training, we support stronger, healthier workplaces and communities by encouraging connection, respect, and culturally safe approaches to wellbeing.
